Liljegren > Holl. Liljegren > Dermott. Although, Dermott is playing well with Sandin.

Holl is straight garbage and the sooner the team accepts this fact, the better.

Keefe gave Liljegren compliments after the game but also mentioned that he made some mistakes and let the puck get behind him.

I thought he looked good but Liljegren hasn’t earned a top 6 roll yet.

What's the significance of the blue vs. white jerseys in practice?

I just have one question: what do you guys think about Mitch Marner's contract? It is a subject I have much interest in.

I thought he played pretty decent for his first game of the season. No worse than some have displayed so far in the early goings.

The Holl injury is a blessing in disguise as it's early days and gives Lilybust a chance to prove his quality.

Lily was a little underappreciated before camp started, but I still believed he could/should make the club. But to say he should leapfrog Holl at this stage is a bit of a stretch. I know you have a tinted perspective on Holl, so I get it, but as it stands; Holl>Liljegren>Dermott. At least in my opinion.
That being said, ask me again half way through the season. Lily will be better than Holl eventually. And keeping Lily on the 2nd pair and putting Holl with Sandin sounds like ideal pairings.

A good article showing why comparing JTs UFA contract (which was the norm at the time) to Marner’s which was trend setting and has led to many more RFAs getting paid is like comparing apples to oranges.

Considering the currently don’t have a 13th forward I don’t think it’s about lines getting changed too much, especially after a win. Maybe it’s just the front of the net guy on the line wears a different colour for practice so he doesn’t blend in?

Or the practice based around the PP today?

I suppose it depends on what the practice is based on as well… who knows tho?
